The Institute of Structural Analysis accompanies students through the entire course of civil engineering with its wide range of modules. At the beginning of their studies, students learn the theoretical basics of beam statics. Students in the Master's programme learn about numerical methods as they are used in modern working life. The knowledge and skills acquired here are in great demand not only in the field of civil engineering, but also in automotive engineering or aerospace engineering.Students can develop their knowledge individually. We offer a wide range of modules in the Bachelor and Master's degree programmes, from non-linear phenomena in statics to plate structures and modern materials, such as those used in the aerospace industry, to vibration problems of supporting structures. Students listening to the ISD modules thus gain a deeper insight into the field of statics and dynamics and are thus well prepared for their future working life. An open collegial learning atmosphere is important to us. For this reason, all ISD modules are subject to continuous development. Do you have any questions or suggestions? We would be pleased to receive your feedback.
