We are glad to announce that our former guest student Anilkumar P.M. from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (Chennai) has been awarded with the ISTE National Award for Best M.Tech. Thesis in Civil Engineering (First Prize) for his master thesis titled "Morphing of Multistable Variable-Stiffness Laminates using MFC Actuators”. Mr Anilkumar P.M. had a research stay for his thesis at ISD in 2018 and was supervised by Dr. Eelco Jansen and Mr Ayan Haldar.
