Projekt-I: “ Compressive Failure of Composite Material“ 

  • Finite Element Analysis of compressive failure in unidirectional laminate considering the initiation and propagation of kink bands
  • Developed a hybrid micro meso modeling approach to simulate the interaction between the failure mechanisms in multidirectional laminates under compression
  • Prediction of compressive failure in woven composites

 

Projekt-II: “ Smart-Blade: Development and Design of Intelligent Rotor Blades“

  • Stability and strength analysis of large and smart rotor blades with morphing trailing edge
  • Development of multi-scale approach to simulate the progressive failure of multidirectional laminates for local and critical areas
